Work Work Work

We haven't done much exciting lately. We've been to the gym a lot. I've had to put in a lot of hours for the new job. M's been taking a life drawing class and now has...homework! So we haven't had a lot of time for recreation or new restaurants or site seeing. However, it's been cold here lately, so it's been a good time of year to stay in and be productive.

This weekend we decided to get out of the apartment and go to my office instead. We got all packed up, and prepared lunch to bring with us.

Then I got to work while M drew pictures and looked at design books.


But while the weather is cold and unmotivating on this hemisphere, it's of course summer in New Zealand. That's where my friend Jamie and his wife Sarah are. They've taken a year off and are bicyling the world. They started in New Zealand but have completed their journey there. Next they move on to Thailand, China, and Russia. We're currently enjoying the night at home watching the Academy Awards. I am very dissappointed that Miami Vice was not nominated for anything. Boooo.
